California is on fire....

I have had such a headache the last few days. Because we are watching our grand daughter we have been out of touch with what is going on in California. When she is here we don't watch t.v. until she goes to bed. Then we are usually pretty tired, so we don't wait for the 11 o'clock news.

I have been thinking the sky was ugly because of smog. But in fact it is because of fires, 1,088 to be exact. (as of this afternoon) No wonder my head hurts! Since it almost never rains where we live, I fear we are in for some long bad days. Here is a map with the latest location of the fires.
