View at your own risk

I took my shoes off today and saw this....apparently I hit my foot on something. This seems a little scary. How can someone get a bruise like this and not remember how they did it? I would be worried, except I have always bruised like this and so does my daughter. So, I don't think it is completely odd for me. Another weird thing.....it doesn't hurt. :-I
