I was walking out the door and saw him! A praying mantis. My first thought? Grab the camera! I know it isn't as sweet as a hummingbird, (especially since it wasn't moving) but cool non the less. I love praying mantis'! I remember seeing their seed pod things in our back yard and watching them day after day. (boy I wish I had my camera then) One day they hatched and there were what seemed like millions of them! They looked pretty much like that picture above, but way smaller!
I know he is there to die. That's the way it goes. But they are amazing insects. Not to mention they eat bugs!
