Just something about the apple/or want something free?

I am not sure the world would go around if there was no apple! Mom's would have nothing to give their children to eat or drink for like the first 2 years of life! (exaggeration I know, but it seems like that sometimes) We wouldn't have the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away!" And Disney would not have one of their beloved stories! As I have been reading Marti's blog. (my BFF) I started to think that I could give something away too!

That's Marti and me at my favorite spot at Disneyland...The Silhouette Studio! Just before our Solo Trip with CJ to DL I asked my twitter followers (and facebook) what necklace I should wear.

I have acquired various Disney jewelry over the years and was thinking about wearing one of these. I love the pearl one, but a friend on FB made an argument I agreed with. It was "I'd wear the apple because the pearls may be to fragile". So I decided on the apple. Somehow I have ended up with an extra one of these beauties and I have decided to bless someone with owning it. It is a Disney Couture Collection piece made by Kidada. It is Gold plated. The Necklace is aprox. 22" long with a 4"extender. Apple pendant is approx 1/2"tall and 1/2"wide. It is part of limited edition line designed by Kidada Jones, daughter of Quincy Jones, for Disney Couture. The name of the piece is Snow White Poison Apple Necklace. I really love the fact that it is red!

Disney Couture is surprisingly nice. It is heavy and great looking. I have worn mine for about a year not and it looks great! It is not a "cheep" piece. I think anyone who owns it will love it! So, anyone interested? Just comment on this post and I will randomly choose a winner.

Talking on the mac!

A couple of weeks ago Gene opened an e-card, or what he thought was an e-card. To his defense we know lots of people and he gets a fair share of e-cards. So it isn't completely unusual that he would receive one. He went to open it and bammm.....it was a virus. It completely destroyed his laptop. It was old, and truthfully he really needed to upgrade, but it is such a hassle. Files have to be transferred things are lost, you get the idea. He decided he was fed up with the PC and switched to MAC. We were always held back because a lot of the programs we use at the church office are windows based. He decided he would go for it. Funny but my son found some cross over programs that made the other windows programs work. (they make the program think it is a windows operating system and then will open it-programs like quickbooks)

One of the features is a way the Gene's can talk to each other and control each others laptops. CJ just happened to be over that night and we let her talk to 'ene. (baby talk for Gene)

I'll tell you one thing, it works way better than the camera I have in my laptop! I'm switching! I just need some cash! :D
