Pooh helps Papa or man we have come a long way!

I'm embarrassed to say that this was our back yard, or should I say the clippings from our backyard that needed to be thrown away. Of coarse all we have is a green waste container that is
picked-up once a week. That was probably 5 feet tall in some spots!

I estimate it will take months to get this all gone.

So what we did was rent this lovely dumpster. I'm sure the neighbors love us, but hey, just think how beautiful my back yard will look!

Back to my story.....

Gene has done an amazing job! we have filled the dumpster 3 times! The cost is $76.70 you can fill it up to 4 times and/or have it for a month. I figure it is a bargain because taking this to the dump (if we could get a truck) would cost more and even more effort!

Anyway, Gene had help....as you can see! (part of my Pooh messages to CJ)

Only problem, is Pooh can be a slacker at times!

But here is the beautiful site!

All clear! Wait until you see what else we have done to the yard! I know, I know, we need to redo the rotten wood flower beds, but at least all that debris is gone, and we have one fill left!

pixie dust, pooh, cj

I mentioned that Pooh was looking for Pixie dust. Let me explain, I have this really cute lantern in my back yard that has one of those timer candles in it. It is set to come on around 9:00PM (or when it gets good and dark) and it stays on for 5 hours and then repeats every night! When we trimmed the trees in the back yard I placed this in one of the lower bushes. I couldn't wait to show CJ how Tink was visiting us in our yard. Then one of the things Pooh did while she was gone was search for Pixie dust.

As you can see, he found some! I can't wait to show her! I bet her face will look like this

Doesn't that make you smile?

Caught!! Red Handed!

I love it that the pirates at Disneyland are always doing "pirate things". While at Disneyland last week, we had reservations at the Blue Bayou Resturant. While in line, my husband Gene, was pick pocketed! And it was the same pirate that stole our water last trip on the Pirate Island!

His comment? "What would my ma think? I have pooh all over me!"

I love it!

Pick of the Week, Cesar's Way! or I have a job, two or maybe three!

Momo is our little Shiba Inu. She will be 11 years old this September. That is like 77 in human years! She is a very spry 77 year old. We walk her every night but frankly, even after nearly 3 years of Cesar's method, she still walks robustly on lead. We decided to get her a pack so she could have a job! We put a one pound weight in each pouch and she is ready to go. She loved it immediately. You can see the pride in her walk as she wears it. It is as if she says-"look at me, I'm working!" The Shiba Inu is not a working dog, but she acts like she is. She has way more energy than the Siberian Huskies we owned. (and sorry all you Sibe owners, but she is way nicer) She even carries her own "poo" baggies just in need of emergency!

I whole heartedly recommend "The Dog Whisperer" on the National Geographic Channel. Check it out!

When she is not carrying her weight, she is working her second job-guarding Pooh for Cecilia.

Her third job? Giving us love!
